Liebe Studierende der Fachhochschule Dortmund,
für die kommende Legislaturperiode des Allgemeinen Studierendenausschusses (AStA) suchen wir engagierte Studierende, die Lust haben, Verantwortung zu übernehmen und die Interessen der Studierendenschaft aktiv mitzugestalten.
Zur Wahl stehen die Positionen der oder des Vorsitzenden sowie eine oder mehrere Stellvertreterinnen und Stellvertreter. Als Teil des Vorstandes übernehmt ihr wichtige Aufgaben wie die Kommunikation mit der Hochschulverwaltung, die Koordination der Referate und Mitarbeiterinnen, die Planung des Haushalts sowie die offizielle Vertretung des AStA nach innen und außen. Das Vorstandsreferat ist ein vergütetes Ehrenamt mit einem Umfang von etwa 15 Wochenstunden. Besonders gefragt sind Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie Interesse an Hochschulpolitik und an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Studierendenschaft.
Der Wahlprozess sieht vor, dass zunächst das Studierendenparlament den AStA-Vorstand bestimmt. Anschließend erarbeitet der gewählte Vorstand ein Konzept zur zukünftigen Ausrichtung des AStA, das dem StuPa zur Abstimmung vorgelegt wird. Sobald dieses angenommen ist, können die weiteren Referate ausgeschrieben und besetzt werden. Den genauen Wahlprozess findet ihr im Anhang.
Bewerbungsschluss ist der 29.10.2025 um 19:00 Uhr. Danach laden wir euch zur nächsten Sitzung des Studierendenparlaments ein, die voraussichtlich in der darauffolgenden Woche am 03.11. um 18 Uhr stattfinden wird. Für die Bewerbung benötigen wir ein Anschreiben, einen Lebenslauf und eine gültige Studienbescheinigung.

Dear students of Fachhochschule Dortmund,
For the upcoming legislative period of the General Student Committee (AStA), we are looking for committed students who are interested in taking on responsibility and actively shaping the interests of the student body.
The positions of chairperson and one or more deputies are up for election. As part of the executive committee, you will take on important tasks such as communicating with the university administration, coordinating the departments and staff, planning the budget, and officially representing the AStA both internally and externally. The executive committee position is a paid honorary position with a workload of approximately 15 hours per week. A sense of responsibility, teamwork and communication skills, as well as an interest in university politics and the further development of our student body are particularly sought after.
The election process stipulates that the student parliament first appoints the AStA executive committee. The elected executive committee then develops a concept for the future direction of the AStA, which is submitted to the StuPa for a vote. Once this has been approved, the other departments can be advertised and filled. The exact election process can be found in the appendix.
The application deadline is October 29, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. After that, we will invite you to the next meeting of the student parliament, which is expected to take place the following week on November 3 at 6:00 p.m. To apply, we require a cover letter, a resume, and a valid certificate of enrollment.
